HEXBLADE – PATHFINDERIZED
Like in my other conversions, this one will include the class’s progression table and any explanation on any new abilities and abilities that were altered. Some class features were moved around for the sake of balancing.
The Hexblade can be found on page 5 of the Complete Warrior source book for Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition.

Armor Proficiency: The hexblade is proficient with light, medium, and heavy armor, and may cast spells while wearing any armor without inquiring arcane spell failure chance.
Hexblade’s Brand (Su): Whenever a hexblade uses his hexblade’s curse on a creature, the hexblade gains one of the following bonuses:
- +1 to weapon damage rolls against the target of the curse.
- +1 on attack rolls against the target of the curse.
- +1 on saves against spells or effects created by the target of the curse.
- DR 1/- against attacks from the target of the curse.
- +1 Dodge Bonus against attacks from the target of the curse.
These bonuses increase by +1 at 5th, 9th, 13th, and 17th level. The hexblade gains these bonuses against the target even if the target succeeded on his saving throw. This bonus last for 1 hour or until the target of the curse is dead (whichever happens first).
Hexblade’s Curse: Instead of being able to use the hexblade’s curse at 1st level and every four levels thereafter, they are able to use it every three levels after 1st. In addition, instead of a free action, the hexblade’s curse is activated as a swift action. Multiple hexblade’s curse do not stack if placed on a single creature, even if the hexblade’s curse come from different hexblades.
Fighter Training: Treat the Hexblade’s -4 as his fighter level for the purposes of qualifying for feats.
Aura of Unluck: The hexblade gains the aura of unluck ability at 6th level instead of level 12th. In addition, he gains an additional use of aura of unluck at 9th, 12th, 15th, and 18th level.
Bonus Feat: Add combat feats to the feats the hexblade may choose every time he gains a bonus feat.
Cantrips: Starting at 4th level a hexblade’s learns a number of cantrips, or 0 level spells, as noted on the table below. These spells are cast like any other spell, but they do not consume any slots and may be used again. Hexblades may choose to learn any cantrips from the sorcerer/wizard list.
